This orange wine has added resin, in the vein of Greek retsina, though the resin is added to the most before being put on casks, which makes it not technically a retsina.

Made on the Roditis grape from old vines growing in lime-rich soil which receives 32 days of maceration in open cisterns and spontaneously fermented, followed by 12 months on old oak casks, before being bottled without filtration or sulphites.

Nice dark golden colour with aromas of orange blossom, rose and yeast mixed with pine needles, a hint of petroleum and eucalyptus. Has a nice acidity, playful tannins, complexity and long aftertaste. A different style of orange, that pairs very well with spice-heavy foods.
